I Need a Real Chair

When I started working from home in 2023, I told myself "I'll buy a proper office chair next month." It's been 3 years. I'm currently sitting on a wooden dining chair that was designed for 45-minute meals, not 10-hour coding sessions. My spine has developed what I can only describe as a "question mark" shape. I've looked at Herman Miller chairs. I've looked at Secretlab chairs. I've looked at chairs that cost more than my first car. Then I looked at my bank account and sat back down on my dining chair. Every dollar gets me closer to a chair that doesn't make my chiropractor giggle when he sees my X-rays. My back thanks you. My posture thanks you. My future self who can still stand up straight at 50 thanks you.
